<A small article on the second page of the local section>
It has been known to the local law enforcement for some time that there has been a heightened rash of street racing, but they had not been able to catch anyone. This all changed about three o’clock Tuesday morning in the early hours of dawn there was a race coming to a close, around 11th Street and First Avenue. The police have been trying to track the movements of the races but have been unable to predict where the next one was to be held. While two of these adrenaline loving youths were racing down the street, one inexplicably lost control of his car and crashed into one of the abandoned buildings.
The youth that was driving the car that crashed was killed almost instantly. The police were called by some unidentified person present and were dispatched immediately to the scene. By the time the ambulance and the police arrived those that had been there were gone, very few traces of the activities were left but for the car, and the usual paraphernalia that is apparently always left behind. As of the time of this article is being written, the police have not released the name of the deceased, nor any other information besides the fact it was indeed linked to the rash of illegal car racing.
