The Background Secrets rating may be added to rolls involving non-supernatural uses of intimidation, seduction, streetwise, etiquette, investigation, law, lore, occult, or politics. By non-supernatural, this means it may not be added to rolls using a supernatural power, gift, discipline, sphere, arcanos, glamour, or whatever. Once the secret BG has been used for a specific purpose (i.e.; I’m using this against Bob Sanders, I’m using it to look into that Bomb Threat.) its value is lowered by one whenever its used against the same target again, this is cumulative, three times is a -3 to the Secrets rating. On any roll that is botched where the Secrets Background was used, please notify the Wiz of the appropriate sphere, as sometimes secrets backfire.
