Wound Level Chart

These rolls apply to mundane healing practices. Powers-use is by the books or other relevant house rules.

NPC Doctors: As the chart assumes proper medical care, NPC doctors will no longer be able to heal health levels, only provide proper medical care. An NPC doctor can keep a patient from getting any worse.

PC Doctors: A patient may have a PC doctor roll for him/her once per RL week, healing up to 1 health level per RL week. 3+ succs must be obtained in order to heal 1 health level, and normal extended rolling rules apply. Healing rolls stop when the PC reaches Injured (-3), as mundane medical science can only do so much.

Botches: A botch by a PC doctor adds a # of wound levels to the patient equal to the botch. Physical flaws may be assigned by the storyteller in cases of botching. It is possible for a PC doctor to kill a PC patient by botching; however, an NPC doctor will never botch and kill a PC patient.

First Aid: First Aid may be used to stabilize only. It will not return health levels.
