Player Rules

  1. No characters under the age of 18 will be permitted. This includes vampire characters that were embraced before they turned 18.
  2. Only two “super” characters will be allowed per player. “Supers” are defined as vampires, shifters, mages, wraiths, kinfolk, ghouls, and any other character that has special advantages (i.e.; advantages out of Ascension’s Right Hand) or powers. For example, a mortal acolyte would not be a super, but a consor with umbral travel would be.
    • Supers cannot be of the same type.
    • Characters cannot benefit from or otherwise offer advantage to each other.
    • Characters cannot be in opposing factions.
  3. All coded listening devices and coded security systems must be approved by both RPStaff and Codestaff before being considered IC.
  4. Do not harass other players or staff.
  5. Do not ICly use information that you obtained out of character. For example, if you find out through chatting with someone that this person’s character is a vampire, don’t expect /your/ PC to be able to use this information. Acting on that information ICly is cheating and will not be tolerated.
  6. Players have the right to call a staffer to witness a scene at any time. If there are no staffers available, the player has the right to call a timestop, which the other players involved must respect, until a staffer is available. If the timestop goes on without resolution for an extended period of time, players have the right to appeal to the Head Judge (or the ArchWizard in the absense of a Head Judge) to have their characters brought back into IC play.
  7. Players have the right to appeal to the Head Judge (or the ArchWizard in the absence of a Head Judge) if they believe that a timestop was misjudged or that some other type of misconduct or cheating occurred on the part of the judge or the other players in the timestop.
  8. No player will break the OOC Masq of another player.
  9. Players found guilty of breaking these rules run the risk of having their characters frozen or destroyed and in extreme circumstances, such as continuous harassment, sitebanning may occur.
