Building Ownership
Posted2023-07-12

Unless told otherwise, Buildstaff will assume that your PC owns his/her house or business in his/her regular IC name. If that is not the case, it is up to you to tell Buildstaff. An apartment can be rented under a fake ID, businesses can be owned by corporations and holding companies instead of individuals, etc.
Any rolls that need to be made to hide the ownership of the home/business should be made before it goes on the grid. Rolls can be made after the building is linked to the grid, but there will be a paper trail that can be followed if the investigator gets enough successes.
Buildings can also be owned by judgenoted retainers and, in some cases, contacts, but these stats must be bought and properly noted before linking.
